Cycle Ayrshire Routes
Below, you will find a selection of some of the routes we have cycled over the years.
All of the routes have downloadable .gpx files and links to online maps.
Many, but not all, have downloadable route sheets in .pdf format.
Handy for those who do not have a gpx enabled cycle computer...

Roads do change over time and these routes have been gathered over many years.
They may not accurately reflect current road routes/conditions so it is your responsibility to navigate with them responsibly.
A route sheet may say turn left but, if it is now against the flow of traffic, do not do it!
Common sense should prevail at all times.
Again, as these routes have been gathered over time, many new cycle routes/paths have been constructed since they were originally created so may provide an alternative option to the the gpx/route sheets provided.
These routes have been cycled by us in the past so stick mainly to quieter back roads and cycle routes.
Occasionally however, you have to venture onto short sections of A-roads to join up the less busy back roads.
The routes are presented in blocks of cards.

By default, they are presented in ascending order of distance.
There is a button which will enable you to search using other parameters such as Distance grouping, Meetpoint and County, rather than clicking through many pages of routes.
